Who we are

Dialysis Australia is a respected and experienced provider of home-based dialysis services. As an enabler of in-home dialysis care, Dialysis Australia is changing the landscape for people living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

This is achieved by allowing a greater number of patients to dialyse in the comfort of their own home under the care of experienced dialysis nurses. We are also the preferred provider of experienced nursing personnel to renal units across Australia.

We are currently looking for experienced Renal Dialysis nurses (RN and EEN) to join our well established dialysis team. These opportunities exist for those who have a desire to provide a high level of clinical support to their communities while developing new skills and enjoying new experiences.

    RNs required to administer HHD treatment for patients in their homes across Sydney and New South Wales.
  • Casual, Part-time and Full-time Registered Nurses – Home Haemodialysis
    RNs required to administer HHD treatment for patients in their homes across Canberra and Southern New South Wales.
  • Casual, Part-time and Full-time Registered Nurses – Home Haemodialysis
    RNs required to administer HHD treatment for patients in their homes across Melbourne and Victoria.
  • Casual, Part-time and Full-time Registered Nurses – Home Haemodialysis
    RNs required to administer HHD treatment for patients in their homes across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Queensland.
  • Casual, Part-time and Full-time Registered Nurses – Home Haemodialysis
    RNs required to administer HHD treatment for patients in their homes across Tamworth, Gunnedah and surrounding areas within New South Wales.
  • Temporary/Casual Renal Dialysis Nurses
    Haemodialysis RNs and EENs within renal dialysis units across Metropolitan Sydney (Western Sydney, Eastern Sydney, Inner West and Northern Sydney).

Essential Criteria
  • Extensive experience using Fresenius (4008 & 5008) and/or Gambro machinery is essential for Haemodialysis positions. On-the-job training exists to up-skill staff in the use of 5008 Fresenius machinery and Gambro machinery.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
  • Current registration or eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Positions require a Working With Children Check (WWCC) as well as a Criminal Record Check clearance certificates.
  • Updated vaccination/immunisation record
  • Recent clinical experience in haemodialysis in a hospital environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and co-ordinate patient care & competency in clinical problem solving.
  • Understanding & demonstrated participation of quality improvement processes/initiatives.
  • Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication and ability to maintain accurate clinical and assessment data.
  • Current ALS and BLS certification essential.
  • Sponsorship is NOT available for overseas applicants.
